On 1st January 2020 the UK left the EU single market as the year-long transition period ended and a free trade deal was agreed.
The trade deal means that for you, our customer, nothing changes. We will continue to supply our entire timber window and door range without exception. The only changes that affect us are behind the scenes. We have some additional paperwork to process and customs declarations to make for all products that cross the border.
If you have an order in production with us and you are waiting for delivery, we are pleased to say that our lead times are currently unaffected. We are keeping our current lead time updated throughout our website, so please check back regularly for updates.
Applicable from 1st January 2021 all Bereco timber windows and doors carry the UKCA mark as evidence that they comply with the harmonised product standard BS EN 14351-1 in accordance with the Construction Products Regulation 2013. You can download our declaration of performance documents here for orders delivered after 1st January 2021.
