Built on the grounds of a single detached home with a spacious garden, the homes were designed with inspiration in the Palladian style, known for its symmetry and grand appearance, which complemented the original villas on the road perfectly. By working closely with two neighbours and incorporating their feedback into the plans before submission, Hawksmoor Homes encountered minimal objection from the planning office and successfully obtained quick approval for their project.

The Entrance Doors are designed with a combination of Farrow & Ball colours, including Pitch Black No. 256, Studio Green No. 93 and Green Smoke No. 47. These hues were specifically chosen to give the sense of sophistication while maintaining the understated timeless and elegant aesthetic. They blend beautifully with the Traffic White RAL 9016 frame, elevating the overall look with a touch of refinement that complements the Polished Chrome ironmongery of the cylinder pull and door knob.

The Sliding Sash Spiral Balance windows in Traffic White are installed on all four properties to achieve a classic and period look.  Chinchilla is the preferred obscure pattern for the majority of Hawksmoor executive homes, complementing the traditional style of their properties.

Chris Atterbury of Hawksmoor Homes particularly appreciates the arched doorway on Plot 4, Sherborne House, which has a slight gothic feel with its arched 60mm solid bars finished in Traffic White.  On the other hand, the sunburst effect created by the curved fanlight on Plot 3, Beaumont House, captivates us, especially with its flawless door leaf coated in Farrow & Ball Green Smoke.

The majority of the mature frontage remains untouched, giving the impression that the four properties are nestled into the surrounding area rather than standing out as a new build development. This adds to their timeless appeal and ensures they will endure for years to come.
