Get in touchAll of our products are manufactured using certified sustainably sourced engineered laminated timber. We offer redwood (Scots Pine) and hardwood (Dark Red Meranti) and both come with the same extensive warranty.
When comparing the two materials, the hardwood has more of an open grain structure giving it more of a textured finish, particularly when stained.

We offer double glazing with warm edge spacer bars as standard, and all of which can offer U-values starting from 1.2 W/m²K. This means our windows are fully compliant with the updated Part L Building Regulations and are incredibly energy efficient.
Our lipped casement windows are also part of BlueSky high-performance window scheme and offer exceptional draught-proofing and weather performance all-year-long.
Get in touchOur double glazed timber windows and doors exceed the new Part L 2023 building regulations and can achieve impressive U-values starting from 1.2 W/m²K – which is 15% better than the guidelines. Whereas our triple glazed windows and doors achieve U-values starting from 0.8W/m²K which is 43% better than what’s stipulated in the regulations.
Find out moreOur lipped casement windows are naturally renewable, carbon neutral and are made from only certified sustainably sourced softwood or hardwood. The care and attention we give to our timber before and during the manufacturing process ensures a 60 year+ life span, 10-year warranty and low maintenance for life.
SustainabilityOn flush casement windows the sashes are flush with the frame externally, whereas on lipped or stormproof casement windows the sash overlaps the frame.
At Bereco, our timber flush casement windows feature double weather seals that offer excellent weather performance and keep out the draughts. In addition, both our flush and lipped window styles come with the ability to adjust and increase compression on the weather seals.
All of our lipped casement windows are fitted with easy clean friction hinges.
Yes, we can offer these in both side hung or top hung (regency casement) designs, as well as Tilt & Turn (opening in) window styles.
Currently, Part Q is only applied to new dwellings, so if you are building a new home or converting a non-dwelling (e.g. a barn) into a home then it is a required. If you are renovating a home then it is not a requirement. However, we would certainly recommend that you look for a manufacturer who builds security as standard as we do. Look for espagnolette locking and 3* high-security cylinders (neighbourhood watch approved) where possible.
